  • Types of Exfoliation:

    Chemical vs. Physical

  • Manual Scrubbing

    Physical Exfoliation

    Physical exfoliants use small granules or tools to manually remove dead skin. They provide instant smoothness but can be too harsh if overused.

  • Which One Should You Use?

    2-3x Per Week

    Depending on your skin type; Chemical Exfoliation using acids and actives may be gentler but can quickly cause skin-irritation, while Physical Exfoliation, may be safer and more suitable for most skin-types. If using both, alternate days and don’t over-exfoliate to avoid damaging your skin barrier. Caution: Never mix too many exfoliants at once. Over-exfoliation weakens the skin barrier, leading to redness, peeling, and breakouts.
